Support the Quran Project

Qassem is writing the complete Quran by hand — every surah, every ayah, in classical script, page after page. It is the work of years.

A hand-written mushaf is not a faster version of a printed one. Each page is ruled, the letters are cut with a reed pen, mistakes cannot be undone, and the gold is laid leaf by leaf. A single page can take days. Doing it properly means being able to give it the time it asks for.

Your support goes directly into that: handmade paper, gold leaf, prepared inks and reed pens, and the hours at the desk. Every contribution moves the work forward, whatever its size.

Support the Quran Project

Qassem Tajalli is undertaking the work of a lifetime: writing the entire Quran by hand, page by page, in classical script.

It is slow, exacting work. A single page can take days, and the whole mushaf will take years. Your support goes directly towards the materials it demands — handmade paper, gold leaf, prepared inks and reed pens — and towards the time to do it properly rather than quickly.

Every contribution, of any size, moves the work forward. Donors are remembered in the project's record, and we will share the pages as they come to life.
